🛠️How to Use – Step by Step
A. For Packing & Moving
- Clean the item. Wipe off dust and grit so nothing gets trapped under the foam and scratches the surface.
- Measure and cut. Unroll the foam sheet and cut a piece large enough to cover the item with about 10cm overlap.
- Wrap the item. Wrap the foam around the item, giving extra layers to corners, edges, legs and handles.
- Secure with tape. Tape the foam to itself only – never stick tape directly onto polished or painted surfaces.
- Separate stacked items. Place a foam layer between plates, glass sheets, tiles or panels so they don't rub.
- Box and fill gaps. Put wrapped items into a carton and fill empty spaces with scrunched foam offcuts so nothing moves.
- Label and load. Mark the box "FRAGILE" and load heavy items at the bottom.
B. As Underlay for Laminate / SPC Flooring
- Prepare the floor. Make sure the concrete screed is dry, clean, level and free of stones and bumps.
- Roll out the foam. Lay the 3mm foam across the room in the same direction the floor planks will run.
- Butt the joints. Place strips edge to edge without overlapping, so the floor stays level.
- Tape the seams. Run tape along each joint to stop strips moving while the floor is installed.
- Trim at the walls. Cut the foam neatly at the walls, leaving the expansion gap for the flooring and skirting.
- Install the floor. Click the laminate or SPC planks together directly on top of the foam.
